US insurers choose Docucorp claims solution

US property and casulty insurers Fireman's Fund Insurance Company, a member of the Allianz Group, has licensed Docucorp's claims correspondence solution to improve customer communication.

According to the insurers, the solution will allow their claims professionals to use pre-formatted templates to create customised documents and distribute them based on customer preference, either by e-mail, fax or print. Correspondence will then be stored, retrieved and viewed via a browser, eliminating unnecessary paper.

Paul Anderson, vice president of claims business process and information, Fireman's Fund Insurance Company, says: "The solution will enable us to gain efficiencies within the current system and improve our staff's speed and professionalism when communicating with customers."
