Eontec to host Enterprise Java briefings

Dublin-based banking technology vendor Eontec is to host a series of 'Enterprise Java Banking' briefings in London and Frankfurt, during May 2001.

Case study presentations from Dresdner Bank and other technology partners will look at the architectural benefits of EJB technology and project deployment. Interactive panel sessions with senior enterprise architects and business development directors at Sun Microsystems, BEA and Eontec will examine the risks and rewards associated with deploying e-channel banking software, from integration and performance, to individual customer experiences.

The London briefing takes places on Tuesday, 22 May. Frankfurt follows immediately after on Wednesday, 23 May. Details at www.eontec.com/briefings.

Walter Jenny, senior enterprise architect, Sun Microsystems, comments: "EJB technology has gained significant momentum in the financial services industry since its introduction more than two years ago. This is primarily due to the benefits it delivers for enterprise development teams and the reduction of costs in developing enterprise scale applications whilst protecting existing investment in IT resources."
