The module, due to be launched to customers in a series of roadshows across Europe throughout April and May, will enable banks to significantly improve back-office efficiency and increase straight-through processing rates by automating follow-up activities, says the company.

The Hermes CS module is fully integrated with the latest release of FTMS and can be used in conjunction with any of the existing FTMS client/server reconciliation modules, including Corona CS for cash, Ares CS for securities messages and Comfort CS for FX, money markets and FRAs.

SmartStream Technologies’ chief operating officer, Martin Brown, says: "The launch of HERMES CS and FTMS 4.2 demonstrates SmartStream Technologies’ long term commitment to FTMS following our merger with Management Data last year."
