Iceland's Landsbanki has rolled out London-based Ffastfill's hosted post-trade processing technology to support its derivatives and equities operations.
The bank has deployed the Ffastfill's securities processing product Sam and clearing and settlements system Eclipse to service its contract for difference (CFD) and equity business lines in Europe.
The vendor acquired both products when it bought out Exchange Systems Technology earlier this year.
Commenting on the implementation, Bupa Gandhi, director of operations, Landsbanki London, says: "Landsbanki is aggressively extending its financial operations into new markets and we chose Ffastfill post trade processing as the best technical and functional solution in this space."
Patrick Thornton-Smith, MD at Ffastfill's post trade processing unit, says the Landsbanki project shows that the vendor's hosted technology "can be implemented in weeks not months ensuring our customers can enable fast and effective growth".
