Paine Webber is to use communications software from California's Zadu Relationship to offer clients 'private channels' for Web-based interaction with financial advisors.
Zadu products allow users to communicate with each other through privately-owned channels. Participant interactions - such as Web site annotations - can only be viewed by other channel subscribers, ensuring that users maintain the privacy and anonymity of their communications.
"Our primary focus is to provide the best possible relationship between PaineWebber's clients and financial advisors," says Marten Hoekstra, director of private client group marketing, PaineWebber. "Zadu's software strengthens our services and enables financial advisors to engage in collaborative communications by posting notes on Web pages, as well as participate in real-time discussions or instant messaging."
