Internet banking solutions provider S1 Corporation has entered a multi-year agreement to integrate Cofiniti's wealth management technology with its e-finance applications. The announcement comes one month after S1 contracted with Confiniti for the provision of mutual fund and other supplier content.
The deal will integrate Cofiniti's software application into S1's base advisor and consumer financial planning products, which enable advisors at financial institutions to collaborate directly with their customers through the Internet.
S1 says it settled on the Austin-based company following a review of specialised and point solution providers from across the US. Cofiniti's ability to execute long-term projects for large institutions as well as its vision for the future of online wealth management were key factors in the decision, says S1.
