Turskish Internet-only bank Netbank is to use the E.piphany CRM tool running on Microsoft SQL server to manage its interactions with customers.

The stand-alone bank, sponsored by Korfezbank, Dogus Group, will be the first of its kind in Turkey. The back-end CRM system is considered critical to the bank's progress in analysing and tracking customer behaviour and building a strong virtual relationship.

The selection of E.piphany followed visits by Netbank senior exeuctives to the company's UK operations where they were invited to participate in workshops demonstrating the solution on the Windows and SQL platform.

The Turkish installation will be overseen by HP and Garanti Technology.
