Consumer finance comparison company Xelector has launched a new online insurance channel, powered by Policy Master technology, for Internet-only bank, first-e.
The channel enables the bank to offer its customers direct access to a Web-enabled comparative private auto insurance option. In less than five minutes, they can receive an impartial comparison of the auto insurance products best suited to their needs, says the company.
The Xelector rating engine is built using Policy Master's GEMINInet software. It enables consumers to quickly compare insurance from their chosen provider according to the value they place on factors such as price, brand, payment structure and service. A policy can then be taken out online and subsequently modified or renewed.
GEMINInet runs on the Microsoft Windows NT Server platform, with SQL Server 7, Exchange Server 5.5 and network load balancing.
