UK retail banking software vendor Intelligent Environments (iE) says Barclaycard is implementing its NetFinance technology to suppport new card partnership programmes.
The vendor says it secured the deal for its NetFinance platform through its alliance with First Data International.
Under a long-term contract, First Data will use iE's platform to provide Barclaycard with application processing across all channels and also provide online account management.
The US vendor said last month that it had won a significant contract to provide credit card and loans processing services to Barclaycard.
IE shares were up 0.50 pence, or 9.70%, to 5.63 pence in morning trading on the news.
