The bank will use Corillian's Intelligent Authentication technology to provide an additional layer of security for customers and protect accounts and assets from hackers.

The system validates the identities of online users by asking personally relevant challenge questions beyond a user name and password and will help the bank to comply with the recent FFIEC security guidance. The software also analyses the online banking behaviour of each customer and flags suspicious actions.

Leonard Rowe, senior vice president and director of e-business for Associated Banc-Corp says: "We chose Corillian Intelligent Authentication because it is a non-intrusive security measure that is virtually transparent and doesn't detract from the positive customer experience we have spent years developing."
