Apak says its Microsoft .NET-based technology will provide Unity with a fully integrated retail banking system that features embedded workflow management, an online product designer and real-time general ledger.

The Aurius platform was selected by Unity following a screening process of leading core system suppliers and was chosen because it could be deployed at relatively low cost via an Intranet.

Commenting on the implementation, Kevin Turmore, managing director at Unity, says: "With Aurius, Unity has acquired a system that will help the bank to provide an enhanced level of service for our customers and business partners, whilst also helping us to achieve our future growth aspirations."
