UK-based Misys Banking Systems has appointed Steve Victore as managing director of its treasury and capital markets business in the Americas.
Victore joins Misys from trading and portfolio management software vendor Beauchamp Financial Technology, where he was group head of sales and marketing and a member of its board of directors.
Prior to this Victore held senior positions in a number of financial technology firms including FinTech, a Web-based trading and portfolio management software company where he was COO.
Victore was also senior vice president of Key Corp, where he managed trading, portfolio management, brokerage and risk management systems for the company and was also on the management committee of its Victory asset management business.
Before Key Corp, Victore was CEO and president of Rolfe & Nolan's Western hemisphere business. He was promoted to CEO of the parent company's global capital markets business within a year of joining.
Prior to Rolfe & Nolan, Victore was general manager of the Americas for Infinity Financial Technology, managing operations and technology groups for fixed income derivatives at Citibank and subsequently director of global EMK operations at Bankers Trust.
