The Deutsche Bundesbank is to use RSA SecurID authentication solutions to enable secure communication with the information and control module of its new large-value euro payment system RTGS(plus).
The Bundesbank's new real-time gross settlement platform is scheduled to go live in early September - three months ahead of the change-over to euro notes and coins in the retail markets - and is designed to provide real-time information and dynamic interaction with all control parameters through browser technology.
