Royalblue says Fidessa has replaced Kempen's own order management application and a system supplied by GL Trade. The platform is installed in Amsterdam with positions in the bank's New York office.

Kempen is using Fidessa's remote broking service to allow its clients to trade on all major European exchanges as well as offering electronic trading links with US markets including Nasdaq, Nyse and Amex.

Joof Verhees, managing director of securities at Kempen, comments: "We needed pan-European coverage and a robust, fully-integrated trading platform. With Fidessa we have an integrated order management system, European market coverage and rich middle-office functionality. Our traders now have everything they need in one system."
