LexiQuest opens new offices in UK and Belgium

Paris-based linguistic solutions provider, LexiQuest, has opened new offices in the UK and Belgium and appointed Jane Moore and Bernard Desgain to the company's management team.

In the UK, LexiQuest will focus on sales to the financial services, legal and pharmaceutical industries as well as targeting consultancy and e-commerce firms. In the Benelux region, European Community institutions and multinational organisations will be the principle targets.

The LexiQuest product range is designed to use natural language commands to retrieve information from unstructured data sets.

Bruno Henry, LexiQuest CEO, says: "These new locations will enable us to work more closely with our major international accounts, as well as cater to the demand that our natural language-based products are generating in the European markets."

Jane Moore, former UK sales director, NewsEdge Corporation, has been named UK sales director for LexiQuest's London subsidiary. Before joining NewsEdge, Moore spent three years at Bridge Systems where she focused on sales to the UK trading floor market. Prior to Bridge, she spent two years at Micrognosis selling trading systems to banks

Bernard Desgain, former European sales manager for the technology company Most, is to take up the position of general manager of LexiQuest Benelux. Before joining Most, he worked as a consultant for Virtual Brussels, supervising marketing programmes for clients including the European Parliament, European Commission and Pegase.
