AK Bank, one of Turkey's largest banks, has licensed automated data collection and forms processing software from Top Image Systems. The bank says it will implement TiS' solutions in a variety of applications including new customer account openings and processing credit card applications.
Top Image Systems' Turkish system integrator partner Aksis took the lead on the sale and will also be responsible for system design and integration with the AK Bank's internal systems.
The AK sale is TiS' third Turkish bank win. Izhak Nakar, chief executive officer of Top Image Systems, says: "Turkey is TiS' third largest market in Europe, after Germany and the United Kingdom. We have set our sights on the Turkish banking and financial vertical market and we expect to increase our market penetration significantly in 2001."
