The company says Factiva Mobile will deliver snapshots of company news, financials, contact details, executive lists and stock quotes for more than 1.5 million companies worldwide.

Factiva says the service also features a facility dubbed "de-duplication beta", which enables users to eliminate identical or similar articles delivered to their BlackBerry.

Alan Scot, Factiva's chief marketing officer, says: "As Factiva continues to provide information where, when, and how our customers need it, mobile delivery has become an important part of our vision."
