Scandinavian banking group Nordea has signed up to Belgium-based Clear2Pay's hosted card processing platform, ClearPark.
Clear2Pay says the framework will support worldwide authorisation of payment transactions within virtual stores, Web forms and batch processing and can directly link to back office systems, processing traditional credit cards, bank paybuttons and purchasing cards.
Nordea's existing operating services provider EDB Business Partner will support the implementation.
Erik Johansen, VP, acquiring, Nordea, says: "We have opted for an ASP model to get to the market quickly, to stay flexible and be able to react adequately on new market requirements.
"The co-operation between Clear2Pay and EDB makes it possible for us to align transaction processing on all card products."
The ClearPark card suite can also be integrated with the EDB Card Platform.
Clear2Pay says Nordea is live with the system for its clients in Norway and plans to extend the service to Sweden and other Nordic countries.
