The bank has rolled out the vendor's Trade Innovation and eServices Platform Trade Edition to support customer services at it trade finance department.

Misys says the combined package will provide a flexible Internet front-end for the bank's corporate clients as well as full STP from front-to-back and seamless integration with the existing incumbent systems.

Hanne Balling, SVP and head of international division, Spar Nord Bank, says the Misys technology "will allow us to automate a range of previously manual processes and thereby reduce the operational risk, improve quality to clients and improve processing speed".
