South Africa-based Old Mutual Asset Managers (OMAM) is installing Charles River Development's investment management system (IMS) at its UK operations.
The system will be used by 50 users to monitor, manage equity, fixed income, futures, and FX trading. The IMS package includes the vendor's portfolio and order management applications and compliance monitoring software.
Charles River says it asset management system will replace a mixture of manual fund manager worksheets and DSTi's HiPortfolio product to provide OMAM UK with an enterprise-wide view of portfolios on a single system.

OMAM UK also utilises Charles River IMS' standard interfaces to the firm’s existing DSTi HiPortfolio accounting platform, Bloomberg real-time pricing solution, and the Thomson AutEx offering for the communication of trade order indications and executions.
