Standard Life is implementing e-learning technology from Dublin-based WBT Systems to provide its 9000 staff in the UK with online compliance and regulatory training.
Standard Life will use the vendor's Compliance Suite to train, track and manage certification for up to 9000 employees, including 3800 customer service staff.
WBT says its technology will enable Standard Life to offer proof that it delivers the correct levels of appropriate compliance training and supervision of staff. The system will also help staff increase sales.
Commenting on the implementation, Andy Tucker, Standard Life's learning technologies manager, says: "The superior tracking and reporting functionality will help us meet and exceed our regulatory obligations for employee training and certification and help us deliver a consistently high level of training across the organisation."
In addition to regulatory training, the system will become the standard training portal for staff at the insurance firm.
