The UK's Portman Building Society is implementing ALG Software's activity-based cost management software, Metifiy ABM.
The vendor says it software will provide Portman's business managers with a greater depth of cost transparency, helping monitor, control and manage process, product and channel costs more efficiently.
Richard Goss, group financial controller, Portman Building Society, says: "ALG's Metify ABM solution will allow us to look beneath the figures at the component parts of each activity. We can then use this information to support process re-engineering and organisational design improvement, to reduce and manage costs."
The building society will initially use Metfiy ABM to analyse mortgage processing by channel. The system is due to go live in April.
