Jordan's Union Bank For Savings & Investment has deployed the Siena real-time treasury management system from Eurobase Banking Solutions to support FX, money market and derivatives trading at its operations in Amman.
The product has been integrated with the bank's existing back office system, Bankmaster.
The system features positional, exposure, cashflow, risk and credit displays to provide users with access to real-time data. Suhail Amin, assistant general manager, Union Bank, says: "Siena provides us with the real-time functionality required to support our trading operation and improve our trading room revenue."
Eurobase says the XML-enabled application can be connected to existing systems quickly and easily, reducing implementation time and cost. Siena was implemented at Union Bank in under three months.
