Under the agreement, CIMB will deploy Odyssey's portfolio management system Triple'A and client relationship management tool, Advisor. The first phase of implementation is due for completion in mid 2005.

CIMB is the vendor's first client in Malaysia. The contract was secured by the Odyssey's Singapore office.

Dave White, regional general manager, Odyssey, says: "We have been well established in the Asian offices of European banks, but this success further illustrates our ability to meet the needs of local Asian-based banks too."
