Launched in June 2000, CoreMarkets offers an online commodity exchange for the trading of ferroalloys, bulk ores and other raw materials for the steel industry over the Internet. The online marketplace offers both public and private trading environments, as well as a complete portfolio of value-added trade services.

CoreMarkets vice president of value-added services Laurence Goldfarb, comments: "With bolero.net, we present our members the opportunity to employ a complete e-commerce solution that transforms international trading into a more efficient, secure and cost-effective process."

Ferrous Exchange and Emetra calculate that access to Bolero can slash up to 50% off member administrative costs.
