The company says access to other European and US equity markets will be extended over the coming months including Nyse and Nasdaq through Archipelago.

Patsystems executives believe the ability to trade the underlying cash markets and Liffe’s Universal Stock Futures Contracts - also launched today - through the same platform and screen will help customers exploit a range of trading opportunities.

Patsystems is also offering customers a new "Multi-Exchange Legger" (MEL) trading tool, enabling the execution of sophisticated arbitrage strategies across multiple products and exchanges.
