Level 1 Plus was launched last year as a real-time data offering targeted at customers that want to upgrade from the Exchange's existing entry-level data product.

The enhanced service offers market share data on each individual security, information on the top-performing fund managers and shareholder information for all securities and risk and performance measures.

Reuters and ComStock customers will now be able to opt to receive the enhanced market intelligence that Level 1 Plus offers, in addition to the data that they currently access through the LSE's Level 1 service.

David Lester, chief information officer, LSE, says several other vendors are also developing Level 1 Plus offerings and other products should be available in the near future.
