MasterCard is offering free anti-virus software to small business cardholders in Europe.
The BitDefender Professional package is available for download through Softwin of Romania and is valued at EUR39.95 for a one-year license.
KBC Bank of Belgium is the first MasterCard issuer to roll out the offer to small business customers.
The card association says plans are underway to extend the offering to MasterCard business card holders across Europe, most notably in Spain, Italy, Poland and Hungary.
