The Saudia Arabia-based bank will use the Finacle platform to power both its business and consumer Web banking initiatives as well as other services such as customer alerts.

Infosys' local partner, Riyadh-based Wareef United, will deliver the software as well as provide on-going support. Wareef has set up a support centre to provide services to firms in the Kingdom that are using the Finacle system.

ANB is the fifth bank in the Kingdom to select the software. Infosys says it has made significant investments in localising Finacle as well as building sales and delivery capabilities in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East in general.
