The release of the new features coincides with an announcement by Microsoft of a record 11 million unique visitors to MoneyCentral in November 2000, an increase of nearly 100 percent from November 1999. According to figures from monitoring agency Integrated Decision Support Systems, the number of average daily page views in the period rose to more than 11 million per weekday.

With the latest upgrades to the site, MoneyCentral users can access finance and business updates from WebFN's 600 BridgeNews reporters in 100 newsrooms worldwide. The Insight and Recent News area of MoneyCentral is also being revamped with the addition of daily news and analysis about the Internet economy and technology trends from the Industry Standard.
