FNB says the service is available to anybody - not just its customers - and allows users to access their voting details by typing a valid South African identity number into the ATM.

Voting information is displayed on the ATM screen along with address details for polling stations.

Mike Arnold, CEO self service channels, FNB, says the service is available to all South Africans at no cost: "Consumers can use any one of the more than 2000 BOB ATMs situated around South Africa to check whether they are registered to vote, and to find out where to go on voting day."
