Baltimore-based Mercantile Bankshares is deploying a front-to-back office asset management platform from SunGard Wealth Management Services.
The platform comprises of SunGard's browser-based asset management and accounting system, AddVantage, which includes the vendor's workflow product, QuikFlow. AddVantage allows for consolidated accounting and reporting for all of a client's assets on a real time basis.
SunGard's advisor technologies will also enable users to research, build, manage and administer separately managed accounts.
John Pileggi, CEO, investment and wealth management at Mercantile, says: "For us the benefits of AddVantage include 24/7 access to information for our staff and our clients, an automated workflow that creates efficiencies, straight-through processing capabilities, and the technological resilience demanded by today's industry."
