The deal, worth in excess of €1.6m, is one of the largest signings for Ibis/S2 to date.

The bank plans to consolidate its existing systems onto a single, centralised platform, offering support treasury, commercial lending, retail, trade finance and MIS. As such, Ibis/S2 will be interfaced to Swift Alliance Interactive, Kondor + and to Viveo's Banque de France regulatory reporting software.

David Carruthers, managing director, Ibis division, Financial Objects, comments: "Most important for Eurobank is Ibis/S2’s open architecture with XML used to integrate other applications used in the bank with the Ibis/S2 core system."
