SocGen subsidiary Barep Asset Management is using middleware from SeeBeyond to create a common repository for STP performance measurement and real-time information management.
At Barep, the SeeBeyond software will provide a real-time dashboard for business process management and reporting in an effort to enhance the visibility of transactions across departments and product lines. The vendor won the project after a nine-month evaluation that involved three prototypes and a detailed competitive analysis.
David Bennett, senior vice president and general manager of Emea for SeeBeyond, comments: "Financial organisations are quickly finding that having the ability to manage increased volumes and reduced settlement times alone is not enough. It is critical to also provide the real-time management of information as well as the performance measurement tools."
Barep has deployed the SeeBeyond eGate Integrator platform to integrate business processes across its front, middle and back office applications, including third party pacakages from Murex and Algorithmics.
In addition, SeeBeyond's eInsight Business Process Manager offers visibility across departments, products and instruments, with real-time monitoring and management, process reporting and analysis.
