12 February 2004  |  2919 views  |  0 SIS x-clear cuts clearing fees

Swiss central counterparty SIS x-clear is to cut clearing fees by 25% during 2004.

The initiative follows the reduction of risk management fees by between 10% and 25% since the start of the year, and is likely to spark a renewed price war among competing cross-border CCPs.

The extent of the fee reduction is determined by individual client ratings.
