Beauchamp Financial Technology (BFT) has launched Equity FundManager, an ASP version of its flagship trading and portfolio management system FundManager, aimed at hedge fund managers with equity based portfolios.
The service supports US domestic and offshore hedge funds and is being hosted at Richard Fleischman & Associates' business continuity centre in New York state.
Clients access Equity FundManager online via a Citrix session authenticated and secured by RSA encryption.
Stuart Farr, chief executive, BFT, says the service is particularly targeted at start-up and early stage equity managers: "We are making available software that is already widely used by some of the largest hedge funds in the world. As such, we are providing our new ASP clients an upgrade path that starts with a highly cost effective solution but gives them the ability to take the software in-house as they grow their business."
