Sampo Bank has implemented TietoEnator's electronic payment processing engine, ProPay, to handle cross border commercial and interbank euro payments.
Electronic payments from different payment sources are fed into ProPay using TietoEnator's message and file switching application, ProSwitch.
Sampo went live with the product on Monday 26th January. After a period of extensive testing, the bank started gradual migration to ProPay during the weekend and continued with full payment volumes on the Monday.
