Yahoo! is launching a comparative account aggregation services for customers in the UK and Ireland, powered by pesonal finance portal moneysupermarket.com.
Rather than having to log on to individual account sites, Yahoo's UK and Ireland customers will be able to use the service, called View My Accounts, to manage finances, e-mail accounts and reward accounts on a single Web page.
Customers will also be able to compare their own financial accounts against others on the market and to apply for products online.
Yahoo! has already introduced comparative account aggregation services to US customers. Alastair Bruce, finance editor at Yahoo!, says: "Our experience in the US has shown that our audience is enthusiastic about gaining more control of their finances through account aggregation and comparative tools."
The moneysupermarket.com Group says its service offers consumers a similar standard of security to that offered by banks.
