Rabobank Nederland has selected Tantau software to build and deploy a new online banking channel for retail customer accounts.
Tantau's software was selected to streamline financial transactions through a new Web portal currently being established by the bank. Through the portal, Rabobank customers will be able to conduct several secure transactions with one simple login, including checking account balances, transferring funds and trading stocks.
John Sims, president and CEO of Tantau says the implementation will also lay the foundations for the development of integrated m-commerce-based transactional services.
The bank has set a target to boost Internet customer numbers by 75 per cent over the coming year.
