Bank Austria Creditanstalt is to outsource the running of its Czech ATM network to Euronet Worldwide.
The agreement provides for a complete outsourcing service, including ATM installation, monitoring, dispatch, maintenance, telecommunications, cash delivery, authorisation, and customer support. Additionally, Bank Austria Creditanstalt will be one of the first banks to offer the sale of pre-paid GSM airtime through ATMs in the Czech Republic.
Miro Bergman, managing director for Euronet Worldwide in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) comments: "This programme is another example of the trend in central Europe for multi-national banks to outsource key distribution services both in the Czech Republic and regionally."
