Sybase has opened a Global Financial Solutions Centre in New York. The new facility will act as a showcase and dedicated resource for the prototyping and evaluation of banking applications.
At the Center, Sybase clients, partners and employees will have the opportunity to test Sybase technology along with partner applications for the provision of finance-specific IT solutions.
Phil Spagnola, vice president and general manager, financial services industry, Sybase, says the Center demonstrates the company's commitment to providing integrated solutions for the banking industry.
The facility will showcase technological solutions that involve enterprise portals, wireless computing, business intelligence decision support systems and Internet application development tools, says Spagnola. Financial applications such as banking, brokerage and institutional trading, Web and wireless applications, derivatives trading and online banking will be available for demonstration on multiple operating systems.
