Furthermore, Wells Fargo has extended and expanded its contract with Visa. The bank will keep Visa as its primary brand for debit and credit card transactions and also use Visa's Interlink for retail transactions with merchants when the customer's PIN is used.

With more than 15 million debit card accounts, Wells Fargo is the second largest issuer of debit cards in the US.
