Clearstream is to provide automated settlement services for customers who use the MTS Deutschland, SWX Swiss Exchange, TLX and BrokerTec trading platforms.
Clearstream Banking Luxembourg will connect to TLX on 27 October while links between BrokerTec, MTS Deutschland and SWX Swiss Exchange and Clearstream Banking Frankfurt will go live in November.
To utilise the new links, customers will have to complete a standard Power of Attorney, granting the right to the respective trading platform to forward settlement instructions on their behalf to their Clearstream account.
Matthias Ganz, COO of Clearstream parent-company Deutsche Börse Group, says: "With these new settlement routes Clearstream is delivering a substantial benefit to its customers as the routes enable 100 percent STP between the trading platforms and Clearstream."
