PayPal and Monitise are among a rich crop of first-time exhibitors making their way to Berlin in May for the pre-eminent annual event for the European payments industry, EBAday 2013.
The newcomers will join eight other debutants, including Commerzbank, Helaba Bank, Dell, Auriga, Experian, Simplex GTP, UniFITS and Intercope, on the bustling exhibition floor at EBAday 2013 from 21-22 May at the Estrel Convention Center, Berlin.
In total, the two-day event will play host to almost 40 exhibitors, including long-time lead and bank sponsors Deutsche Bank and Royal Bank of Scotland respectively, and corporate supporters ACI Worldwide, CGI, Fundtech, IBM Financial Services, and Western Union.
Up to 750 bankers and treasury professionals are expected to attend the event in Berlin, which will address head on the challenges to the banking industry's payments franchise from new regulations and a host of innovative start-ups.
The conference programme at EBAday 2013 - organised by the Euro Banking Association and Finextra - features keynotes, panel discussions and break-out sessions comprising more than 50 of Europe's leading figures in payments.
