Small and middle-market business owners can now visit a single website to streamline business operations and enhance productivity through the launch of the MasterCard Business Network.

Taking feedback from small and-mid-size business owners, the MasterCard Business Network addresses the most critical needs of today's businesses. The site, powered by Rearden Commerce's Deem™ commerce platform, creates a personalized and highly-relevant purchasing experience to enable small and middle-market business owners to better manage their cash flow and expenses.

"Smaller businesses don't think of themselves as small, they just haven't finished growing yet," said Ed Glassman, group executive, Global Commercial Products, MasterCard Worldwide. "Through one, integrated site, the MasterCard Business Network is designed to help them grow by delivering some of the critical infrastructure capabilities that can help them save time and money, whether they are purchasing supplies, booking travel, entertaining clients or simply trying to get a handle on their overall expense management."

Available to any MasterCard cardholder, this new online resource features integrated modules that expand purchasing power to save money on business supplies, simplify and improve T&E planning and streamline expense management to give these business owners a competitive edge.

"By leveraging our proprietary technology platform, the MasterCard Business Network is empowering smaller businesses to cut through the clutter with a personalized purchasing and travel experience," said Patrick W. Grady, founder and CEO, Rearden Commerce, creator of Deem. "Deem delivers one customized, curated marketplace that is relevant to the needs of each buyer and helps small and mid-size businesses succeed."

The MasterCard Business Network is available online at mastercardbusinessnetwork.com and has three distinct modules at launch:

Purchase - Offers small and mid-size businesses exclusive discounts on more than 650,000 products delivered from national distributors, including office supplies, computers, construction and electrical needs.
Travel and Dining - Helps businesses manage their aieir air, hotel and car rental bookings; create employee travel policies; review restaurant ratings; and make reservations, manage invitations and set dining preferences through OpenTable®. Enables small and mid-size businesses to manage and enforce their travel policies.
Expense - Create, save and print basic expense reports for free. Businesses can upgrade for enhanced capabilities including the ability to import transaction data from MasterCard credit or debit cards and integrate scanned or uploaded receipts.

Currently in an expanded beta, the site will continue to be updated in the coming weeks to reflect new features and functionality to meet the desired customer experience and day-to-day operational needs of small and mid-sized business owners.

The MasterCard Business Network offers free registration for MasterCard business cardholders and will soon include a mobile app available on Android, iPhone or Blackberry devices for access while on the go. To begin taking advantage of product discounts and offers available on the MasterCard Business Network, small and mid-size businesses can register online at mastercardbusinessnetwork.com.
