In the wake of its merger with Swiss Bank Corporation, UBS of Switzerland selected a combined HP/SAP R/3 system to streamline logistical processes and information exchange across the enlarged group.

The merger between SBC anbd UBS doubled the bank's existing application and process portfolio. The implementation of an HP/SAP R/3 solution helped bolster UBS' merger plans in the areas of supply chain and facility management by enabling financial processes to be unified within a transparent, process-oriented system.
