Thanks - I would add that HR as well as Risk officers need to get more involved in contractor management and selection - this is not something to be left to procurement functions - it's more than a cost issue !

Interesting, investment banking and trading institutions IT in particular, tends to have evolved and is far from integrated...are you suggesting it's the 'gaps' between the applications and infrastructure that are a prime source of risk?
