My main responsibility is to ensure we do things differently from the other big tech firms when it comes to cloud storage within financial services, banking and e-commerce. The financial services industry has a concern about data and privacy, and business leaders simply need to know that internal, and customer data is safe, secure and accessible at all times, which is what my personal mission is built around fixing. I work with a number of financial services professionals on a daily basis to tackle these challenges.
Career History
I am the CEO and founder of pCloud. My background lies in IT and technology for financial services organisations, and I founded pCloud in 2013 to build a place where people have secure 24/7 access to important files, wherever they go. I grew up in Bulgaria and studied for a Bachelor of Engineering degree, and a Master of Science degree from the University of Sofia. Since then we have moved the business to Switzerland to act as a central hub for pCloud in EMEA. We have over 14 million customers and through our platform over 33 billion files have been uploaded, with the large majority coming from financial services organisations, banks, e-commerce businesses and fintech startups.
