Odyssey Asset Management Systems, a leader in wealth management & private banking solutions and GL TRADE, the leading provider of electronic trading, order management and settlement solutions, have signed an agreement to jointly market and deliver a new integrated solution.
The solution proposed combines two best of breed market leading applications that guaranty a complete order life cycle processing, from generation to post trade allocation. The global order booking for cash & derivative instruments from GL AOM can be used to support the trade management for all types of assets supported by Odyssey's Triple'A portfolio management solution.
Through this alliance Odyssey can now provide a multi asset class platform, and an integrated solution for Portfolio, Compliance and Order Management functions. The new combined solution significantly enhances straight through processing capabilities, providing increased productivity for Portfolio managers, Relationship managers, Asset managers and Buy side traders.
The alliance announced today formalizes a relationship between the two companies that began in 2004 when Banque Degroof in Brussels released a complete implementation of the GL Trade Order Management and Trading platform in conjunction with Odyssey’s Triple'A portfolio management system.
