Wincor Nixdorf has reorganized its cooperation with sales partners. The aim of this is to better tap growth potential in key markets, such as emerging countries, together with partners.

Sales with partners should, however, also be stepped up in countries where Wincor Nixdorf has its own subsidiaries. To this end, it is to merge its activities, which used to be separated along the lines of the two sectors of retail banking and retailing, in a joint organization with global responsibility at headquarters in Paderborn. It will also create a regional organization for the Middle East and Africa, which is of special importance in partner business. The objective of the new organization is to make it easier for partners worldwide to access Wincor Nixdorf's entire portfolio and to actively support them in developing their local business.

Partner business has a long tradition at Wincor Nixdorf: The company has been cooperating for several decades with sales partners both in business with solutions for banks and for retail companies. Since then, new market segments have been built together with strategic partners in around 60 countries. Indirect sales has become a key pillar in the company's successful global expansion in a total of more than 100 countries.

"Through the restructuring we will set up further delivery channels with partners and thus jointly tap new market potential. Our organization's mission is to cooperate with our partners as simply and effectively as possible and be the benchmark in our industry," was how Eckard Heidloff, CEO of Wincor Nixdorf, explained the strategic realignment.

Hagen Höhl will be in charge of the new Indirect Sales unit, which is responsible for both banking and retail business. Höhl joined Wincor Nixdorf in 1998 and has since held various management posts, among others as Director Banking in Russia and, in his last function, as Interim Director Retail in the UK.

A particular focus in the future will be on the further development of business in the Middle East and Africa. To this end, Wincor Nixdorf has appointed Paulo Gomes, previously Managing Director of Wincor Nixdorf Portugal, as President of the regional organization. This organization includes the local Wincor Nixdorf companies in Morocco, Algeria and South Africa, as well as partner business in the Middle East and Africa region.
